Responsibilities
- Work with the product and engineering teams to define and prioritize technical projects that improve the quality of streaming on our platform.
- Develop and maintain a product roadmap and release schedule for technical projects related to streaming.
- Monitor the latency, stability, and quality of streaming in all regions, for both broadcasters and viewers.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve technical issues related to streaming, including latency, quality, and stability.
- Conduct research and analysis to identify emerging trends and technologies related to streaming, and develop product strategies to stay ahead of the curve. Study competitors.
- Define and measure key performance indicators (KPIs) related to streaming quality, and track progress against these metrics to ensure that the streaming is meeting its goals.
- Communicate with stakeholders across the organization to provide updates on the status of technical projects related to streaming on a product.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience as a technical product manager in a fast-paced, agile software development environment.
- In-depth knowledge of streaming technologies, including video codecs, transcoding, and streaming protocols.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a track record of developing and launching successful products and features.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
