Responsibilities

Payment Operations Leadership

  • Lead and mentor a team of payment operations professionals, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and innovation.
  • Help develop and execute a comprehensive payment operations strategy that aligns with company objectives, ensuring efficient payment processing, risk management, and compliance.
  • Oversee the entire payment operations process.
  • Establish and manage internal and external partnerships.

 Performance Analysis and Improvement

  • Continuously monitor and analyze payment performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement and implementing strategies to enhance payment success rates.
  • Drive process optimization, automation initiatives, and cost-saving measures within payment operations and development.

Payments Development

  • Collaborate closely with the development team to define and prioritize feature enhancements, improvements, and new payment capabilities.
  • Ensure the timely delivery of payment application updates, enhancements, and bug fixes.
  • Drive innovation within the payments development team, exploring new technologies, approaches, flows and methods to enhance the payment experience for our customers.

Collaboration with Core Product Team:

  • Work closely with the core product team to understand feature requirements and align payment development efforts with the overall product roadmap.
  • Act as a liaison between the payment operations and product development teams, ensuring clear communication and coordination.
  • Provide input on payment-related features, enhancements, and functionalities that contribute to the success of the core product.

Risk Management and Compliance:

  • In cooperation with the anti-fraud team, Implement robust risk management strategies to mitigate fraud, chargebacks, and other payment-related risks while maintaining compliance with industry regulations.
  • Stay updated with evolving payment industry regulations and compliance requirements, ensuring the company's adherence.

Requirements

  • Proven leadership experience in payment operations within the e-commerce sector with merchants with global reach.
  • Strong understanding of global payment processing, alternative payment methods, risk management, and compliance.
  • Prior experience being involved with a development team, with a focus on payments or fintech applications.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and team management skills.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
  • Familiarity with global payment trends, emerging technologies, and alternative payment methods.
