Responsibilities

Team leading the ML department
Prioritize and set the roadmap for the ML department based on business goals and the capacity of all involved teams.
Design and refine algorithms for personalized content recommendations, enhancing user engagement and platform growth.
Innovate and propose ideas in content rotation strategies, using multi-armed bandit algorithms and exploring alternative approaches to maximize viewer engagement and content creators exposure.
Advance computer vision capabilities to monitor, analyze, and categorize content effectively.
User behaviour analysis for churn and fraud prevention.
Find effective solutions how to integrate machine learning techniques across various projects to drive improvements in user experience and key product metrics.
Collaborate with product teams to seamlessly integrate machine learning models into products’s platform.
Work closely with ML Tech Lead to make sure we can achieve business goals in the most effective way.
Set and track performance metrics to align the department’s objectives with overall business goals.
Stay on track with the latest developments in machine learning and related fields, applying cutting-edge research to practical applications within our platform.

Master’s or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Statistics, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in machine learning, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
Proven track record in designing/developing recommendation systems and/or content optimization algorithms.
Proven track record in effective integration of computer vision technologies would be a plus.
Understanding ML algorithms and state-of-the-art approaches in recommender systems, computer vision and other A.I. fields.
Basic SQL, Good knowledge of Python and experience with machine deep learning frameworks (e.g., PyTorch, JAX).
Understanding of AB tests, and statistics.
Understanding common ML business tasks, goals and metrics.
Understanding ML lifecycle
Excellent leadership and communication skills, capable of motivating and guiding a team towards achieving strategic objectives.
Understanding the unique challenges and specifics in a video streaming environment like Youtube, Twitch, Trovo would be a plus.
